Swipe Digital ("we", "us") is a web design agency based in Melbourne, Victoria. This policy explains what personal information this website collects, why, and how we look after it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
Information you give us
When you send an enquiry through our contact form, we collect your name, email address, the subject and your message. We use this only to reply to you and to discuss your project. We don't sell it, and we don't add you to a mailing list.
Enquiries are stored securely on Cloudflare's platform and delivered to our business email (Google Workspace). We keep them for as long as we need to respond and for our business records, and no longer than two years unless you become a client.
Spam protection
The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a real person is submitting it. Turnstile may process technical information such as your IP address and browser characteristics. It does not use tracking cookies. See Cloudflare's Turnstile privacy addendum.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site (for example, which pages are viewed and how people arrive). Google Analytics uses cookies and receives your IP address, which Google processes on our behalf. We use this information in aggregate only. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser.
Hosting
This website is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical request data (such as IP addresses) to deliver and secure the site.
Overseas disclosure
Our service providers (Google and Cloudflare) may store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States. We use providers with recognised security and privacy practices.
Access, correction and deletion
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. Send a request through our contact form and we'll respond within 30 days.
Complaints
If you have a concern about how we've handled your information, please contact us first so we can put it right. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
